Vishnu Ghat

Haridwar is often called the gateway to the Hindu pilgrimage sites of the ‘Char Dhams’ and attracts a huge number of tourists due to its amazing mountains, rivers and ancient temples.One of the sacred and the most visited Ghats in Haridwar; Vishnu Ghat is named after the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. It is considered a sacred place as Lord Vishnu took bath at this spot and the water is said to relive all sins.

It is one of the cleanest and safest ghat ghats in Haridwar. Pilgrims and Devotees come to this place abd take a dip in the holy ganges to absolve their sins and then just sit here pondering over the divine aura that surrounds this city in its very spirit.

How To Reach Vishnu Ghat

It is situated in Har ki Pauri, Haridwar. One can reach Vishnu ghat by take auto, or by bus or by your own vechile. Haridwar Railway Station is the nearest Railway Station which is only 1Km far from the ghat. Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport(38Km) and Rishikesh is 28Km away from the ghat.
