Sivananda Ashram

Sivananda Ashram is placed on the banks of the holy river Ganges at the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. With the spiritual aim of bringing peace and joy in everyone’s life by diffusion of sacred knowledge and charitable activities, Worshipful Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj, a sparkling star in the modern divine firmament, established The Divine Life Society in 1936. Many charitable and spiritual activities are organise under the sponsorship of the Ashram, they covers Yoga-Vedanta Forest Academy, Sivananda Eye Hospital and Sivananda Ayurvedic Pharmacy. Yoga classes are conducted every day for the public in the Ashram.

Sivananda Ashram comes under India’s top most yoga center which is run by the Divine life society. Ashram has also Great Book shop and they also offers a wide range of programs like spiritual growth through Karma yoga. This ashram is recognised worldwide for teaching yoga.
