Ganga Arti At Triveni Ghat
Ganga Arti is a delightfull routine of worshiping the Ganga. Lots of Peoples visit the Ganga Arti everyday at 06:00pm-07:00pm. It is beautiful to see so many diyas soaring in the Ganges. It is held in a small place with a few peoples. You can sit peacefully in the corner and witness the ritual or join the peoples chanting bhajans with them. The devotees takes diyas and flowers from the ghat and floats down in the Ganga river. It is consider that those who takes bath at Triveni Ghat,they wash all their offense and purifies thier heart and they will attain liberation after death.
Daily morning and evening arti takes place at Triveni Ghat where many people witness their existence. It feels good to sit on the banks of the Ganga and enjoy the cool breath from the river.

You can take auto or car or by bus from Haridwar which is 15Km from this place. If you have your own car then there is parking near at Triveni Ghat.
Ganga Arti At Parmarth Niketan
Parmarth Niketan is an also popular place where the Maha Aarti is conducted in Rishikesh. The Aarti starts with singing of bhajans,beating drums,bells and diyas offering to the Ganga.
It was organized and performed by the Vedic priest,especially the childrens who learning about the vedas here. The lights are lit and the aarti takes place as the final part of the ceremony. The children chant along with the divine head of the ashram, in sweet, haunting voices. A huge statue of Lord Shiva overlooks the archives. You can sit and fold your hands or join the chanting bhajans with them.

You can go Parmarth Niketan by auto or bus or car. The ashram is placed at the bank of river Ganga. It is only 600 mts from Ram Jhula, 18Km from Haridwar.
